22kW Basket Mill

The 22kW basket mill pairs with the working capacity of a 1000L mobile mixing tank for efficient batch grinding and dispersion. The grinding basket is immersed directly into the tank. No feed pump, piping, or valves are required. Material completes the suction—grinding—dispersion—re-suction cycle in one setup, with low residue and easy cleaning for color changes. The mobile tank moves with the batch: once milled, it can be wheeled directly to the next process step—small footprint, flexible turnover.

The tank comes standard with a cooling jacket. The grinding chamber has its own cooling, and the tank adds a second cooling layer—dual cooling. This suits temperature-sensitive resins, pigment pastes, and inks: stable temperature control, less solvent evaporation, and better batch-to-batch consistency.

Description

When the basket mill is working, the motor drives the lever and the bottom dispersion disk to rotate at a high speed, causing a vacuum on the upper part of the dispersion disk and inside the basket chamber. Then the slurry is sucked into the basket grinding chamber. The lever drives the grinding media in the chamber to generate forces in all directions. The particles in the material are constantly collided and rubbed by the media, making the particle size smaller. The high-speed operation of the dispersing disc generates volex flow to suck out the material from the chamber and recirculate it, which has a very significant dispersing, grinding and mixing effect.
