On-Site Project Update | RUMI Technology Undertakes EPC of Hubei Zhishan High-Performance Protective and Repair Materials Production Line

01 Deepening Expertise in Protective and Repair Materials to Support Customer Capacity Upgrades

Hubei Zhishan is a joint venture between China Railway 11th Bureau Group and Hubei University of Technology. It focuses on the R&D and production of high-performance protective and repair materials and has strict requirements for production equipment in terms of process adaptability, operational stability, and automatic control. As a new production line, the project covers multiple sections, including storage and conveying in the raw material tank farm, automatic metering, dispersion and mixing reactors, utility equipment, and the DCS control system. It involves many types of equipment, a tight construction schedule, and cross-operation among multiple disciplines. Based on its recognition of RUMI Technology’s professional capabilities in fine chemical equipment and the two parties’ strong alignment on the principles of “quality, efficiency, and reliability,” the customer selected RUMI Technology to undertake EPC contracting for this automated production line and to jointly build a benchmark production line for high-performance protective and repair materials.

02 Multiple Core Equipment Types Supported by Professional Solutions

The project involves multiple key equipment types, including polyester reactors, acrylic synthesis reactors, curing agent synthesis reactors, planetary mixing and three-shaft mixing equipment for high-viscosity steel-bonding adhesives, and dispersion reactors for epoxy repair materials. RUMI Technology offers a full range of high-efficiency mixing solutions, from low viscosity to high viscosity.

03 On-Site Update: Lifting and Positioning Completed, Piping Installation Progressing Efficiently

Since construction began at the project site in September, RUMI Technology’s installation team has compressed the construction schedule to the limit while ensuring construction quality and safety. The team responds to the customer’s priorities and takes the customer’s needs into consideration.
